I find myself more often these days coming across service providers who have a focus on managing other companies social media campaigns. Social media may be looked at as an extension of an advertising channel by some, but at it’s core it’s the transparent window into that brand. The use of twitter and facebook as well as other social networks has become a status quo for companies these days and we see more and more of it as we “fan, like or follow” whatever it is that compels us.
